Learning about your visitors as they navigate your site is critical to improving their user experience, and ultimately their loyalty to your brand. In this session we will explore adding segmentation targeting to ensure the right message is shown to the right users, as well as how we can perform Split A/B testing to better understand visitor behaviors and priorities when visiting your site.  Using these simple techniques you can optimize the content and user experience  to convert your visitors into buyers.

Malcolm Bradley

Expose Local Internet Marketing Services, Founder
Malcolm Bradley realised a few years ago that he wasn't a 'creative' person and didn't really like websites.  This is limiting for a 'web' person.
With print and other traditional advertising media declining or fragmenting, the use of search engines was increasing.  The problem for most local businesses was they just couldn't be found amongst the millions upon millions of web pages.  Most were content to be found on their business name alone not realising how much business they were losing.
Seeing this as a great opportunity to help local business (and earn a crust or two at the same time) Malcolm specialised in Search Engine Optimisation 4 years ago and has been happily 'optimising' ever since.

Mario DeMello

Mario DeMello, founder of Borderless Solutions, has over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, including design and development of PC-based systems, software for mainframe computers and web-based systems.

He is actively involved in the Information Technology industry in Nova Scotia, having served as Chairman of the Information Technology Industry Alliance of Nova Scotia (ITANS) and on the Board of Directors of the Information Technology Human Resource Sector Council (ITHRSC).

Gifford Watkins, B.Sc., M.A.

Gifford is the architect behind bringing the engineers of Atlantic Webfitters together and brings a highly informed background in business flow technology, web services and human relations. Gifford’s strengths include his strong personal communication skills and capacity to evaluate business processes in order to educate potential clients on the value of DotNetNuke to their businesses.

20 year USA tech reporter Kevin Maney writes: "Gifford is one of the most unusual people I've met in technology -- in a good way. Here is a guy who grew up a Nova Scotia lobsterman (he's shared lobster recipes with me) and was educated as a minister...and without shedding either of those identities built a serious tech company about as far geographically from Silicon Valley as you can get. He's won the attention of Microsoft and the U.S. Military. And he's always been willing to share his expertise with me. All in all, Giff is a great story."
